Friday Prayers and Blessings

Let’s take some time on this beautiful Friday to consider our blessings. The greatest blessing we have in this world is a relationship with God through Jesus our savior.

What a blessing to know the creator and sustainer of the universe. To consider a God so vast and big yet he knows us and is concerned about us.

We when wake up and start our day with God, the blessings will surely be abundant!

Friday Prayer Points

So, what should we pray for on Friday?

Since Friday is the end of the workweek, we can simply pray to thank God for the blessing of having a job.

But, like any other day of the week, we can thank Him for any and all of the other many blessings He has provided!

Additionally, you can also make any requests you may have known to Him.

Good Morning Friday Prayers

What a great time to meet God in prayer. In the morning our minds are fresh and not yet flooded with all the things we have to do. We can put God first and worship him with praise and thanksgiving.

Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my request to you and wait expectantly. Psalm 5,3 NLT

Father, I thank you for this time that I can meet you. Before my mind gets scattered with all kinds of things I need to do, I put you first. I love you, Lord. I thank you for loving me and watching over me.

Thank you for saving my soul and giving me a new life. Watch over my family today and call their hearts to you. Be with my family and keep them safe. I pray for their salvation and their spiritual maturity. Be with my friends and meet the needs of their lives.

I pray for their spiritual maturity as well. Draw them close to you and work in their hearts. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Friday Night Prayer

Friday Evening Prayers

At night, before we go to bed, we can look back on the day and think about the blessings we have enjoyed, mistakes we have made, what we have learned, and how God’s hand has guided us. We can ask for his protection as we sleep.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O LORD, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:8 ESV

Father, thank you for being with me throughout this day. Thank you for the blessings of this day. Thank you for keeping us safe today. Lord, help me to learn from the things I experienced today.

Thank you for the joys of this day and for the joy of knowing you. Lord, give me and my family a good night’s rest and prepare our hearts and minds for another day to worship and serve you. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
